July 1, 2010, All across BC on Canada Day citizens will be secretly protesting the HST tax by eating cake and wearing Canadian flags. Some protesters will go so far as to have flags painted on their faces and sing the national anthem loudly. In the evening, thousands of taxpayers will be letting off thousands fireworks to send a clear message that HST is wrong and not wanted. To the casual observer, it will seem that Canadians are very enthusiastic in celebrating their national day as usual, but you will know otherwise...
